Not all web hosts provide the same thing. Do your research before you commit. That's what we are here for. With our award winning free reviews we have helped thousands of customers choose the webhost that is right for them and their business.Hosting is important and don't forget that if you make a choice and you are not happy with them, you can always move your site to another host. Making an educated decision is a right, not a privilege.
Our Top Host Award for 2008 goes to Host Monster. They have what we have deemed as the best combination of features, quality, customer service and good prices. With the account you are allowed to host numerous domains as well as numerous sub-domains. Almost all the hosts provide the money back guarantee and so does Host Monster. They have tons of scripts and numerous bonuses. Their support is one of the best support teams out there today and you can rest assured if you have any problems what so ever these guys will be there willing to help. Don't forget to see the Pros and Cons of each Host
Although Host Monster was #1, BlueHost in our estimation was a very close second. Although they are more pricey and offer slightly less, their overall performance was very strong. We recommend Blue Host as well.
We firmly believe in helping customers out, which is why we will share our experience with you all. We recently changed hosts and we moved to HostGator. This was done way prior to the writing of this review. After writing this review, we realiszed we should have moved to Host Monster. That having been said, we have not had ANY problems whatsoever with HostGator. HostGator may have low storage amounts, but not many sites require that must storage. We tend to recommend them for new sites that won't get much traffic. Anyway, if you haven't made up your mind, bookmark this page and the Pros and Cons page and come back later to compare.
Many have asked why such hosts as GoDaddy aren't on this list. Simple. We are reviewing quality hosts and not what we call "Hosts for the masses." That having been said, we do indeed recommend them for registering a domain name.
In the end, Host Monster is the best Host. HostGator is one of the most popular online and is the ideal for a starting site. They have very reliable servers and great support. On another note, ix Hosting will soon become on eof the top hosts soon. They seem to be impressive. They aren't higher on our list because we thought we needed more time for evaluation with them.
As for BlueHost, they are ideal if you are planning to actually host more than one site on one account. And they impressed us A LOT overall and we recommend them along with Host Monster.
But again, they are more pricey than Host Monster. Host Monster provides the same service. In that respect, just pick the host you think you'll be more relaxed with. Ipowerweb is another one of those popular hosts. Honestly, everything was great with these guys. We just felt that their support needed a little work. Their support was still very good, but not as good as Host Monster's in our opinion.
Startlogic is another one of the strong hosts. They stand on the cheaper side and we recommend them highly. We know many people hosted with them and their experiences with them have been superb to say the least. That's it for now, don't forget, we update this page regularly. (Update) It seems HostRocket has changed quite a bit of its plan. We are hesitant to increase their position just yet. We will keep them at the spot they are at now, but for next year's review, they might be going up in the rankings because they would prove to be a decent value).
